Vertex & University of Denver Sturm College of Law co-develop a masters program, titled Master of Legal Studies in Forensic Engineering (MLS)

Weymouth, MA, United States - January 10, 2023 —

University of Denver Sturm College of Law and Vertex developed a new master’s program titled Master of Legal Studies in Forensic Engineering (MLS), to be launched in early January, 2023. The program will present graduate students with the opportunity to gain valuable insights by interacting with lawyers, helping collect evidence and depositions, or assuming the roles of expert witnesses. The program is suitable for professionals who are already in or seeking to transition to the fields of forensic and/or dispute resolution.

The newly opened program is designed as a graduate program for driven construction and engineering professionals who do not want to practice law but who wish to expand their knowledge and expertise into areas centered around construction law, forensics, the legal system and legal reasoning. The program is also available to Denver Law’s JD and LLM students.

The courses within the new MLS program will be taught by a group of experts: the law school’s own faculty members, The Vertex Companies’ construction and engineering expert witnesses, fellow industry professionals, as well as attorneys with hands-on experience and active involvement in construction claim matters.
