RedWeek and Hawaii's Best Travel Partner to Help Travelers Make More Informed Hawaii Vacation Decisions

Sep 17, 2026

RedWeek and Hawaii's Best Travel are partnering to combine RedWeek's timeshare rental marketplace with Bryan's 20 years of experience at Marriott Vacation Club's Ko Olina. This gives travelers more informed choices, special deals, and unique resources for planning Hawaii vacations.

United States, September 17, 2026 -- A 2024 survey by Travelport found that 58% of travelers feel overwhelmed by too many choices. In addition, 71% feel anxious about whether they got the best deal after they've already booked their trip.

Considering that saving up for a trip can be quite an endeavor for many people, it's reasonable that they'd be worried about whether or not they've made the right decisions. This anxiety can ruin their vacation time, and even if they do thorough research beforehand, it may drain so much of their energy that they can't fully enjoy their trip then, either.

RedWeek recognizes this major challenge that consumers have, which is why they're partnering with Hawaii's Best Travel. Together, they aim to give travelers greater access to vacation-planning expertise.

This collaboration combines RedWeek's vacation rental marketplace with the firsthand Hawaii travel knowledge that Brian at Hawaii's Best Travel has. He's an expert on Marriott Vacation Club's Ko Olina, as he's vacationed at that resort for over 20 years.

As part of their partnership, Hawaii's Best Travel will feature RedWeek on its podcasts and videos to introduce the company to its audience. Their combined goal is to help consumers make informed vacation decisions in Hawaii by helping them understand what their options are. They'll help their audience make decisions based on their individual vacation priorities, schedules, budgets, and preferred resorts.

Another benefit that comes from this partnership is special access to exclusive deals and unique links through RedWeek. This is intended to make it easier for travelers to explore timeshare rental opportunities, as this is RedWeek's wheelhouse. As a result, they can discover great properties at affordable prices when they're planning their Hawaii getaways.

RedWeek specifically has flexible and discounted Hawaii rentals. The listings show which discounted rentals' prices have recently fallen so those booking can get the best value possible, and it also shows flexible rentals that have refundable reservations (subject to applicable terms).

Those who are particularly interested in Marriott Vacation Club's Ko Olina will be pleased to learn that it's on RedWeek's list of Hawaii properties. Other rentals include those as small as studios to as large as multi-bedroom accommodations. RedWeek is an A+ BBB accredited business and has a verified and protected system.

The combination of Hawaii's Best Travel's expert knowledge and RedWeek's marketplace gives consumers far more options and useful information before they plan out their Hawaii trips. This allows travelers to feel more confident in their choices and to have less anxiety surrounding vacation time, which leads to better overall enjoyment.

About the company: RedWeek is the largest and most trusted online marketplace for timeshare rentals and resales, connecting travelers and owners through a verified, transparent platform built on decades of industry experience.

Smarter Bathroom: Meet Moderno Home Depot’s MHD-4500 AI Smart Toilet

The modern bathroom is evolving beyond functionality, with smart technology bringing greater convenience, personalized comfort, and new possibilities for everyday living.  Joining this shift is Moderno Home Depot’s MHD-4500 AI Smart Toilet. Introduced as the Philippines’ first app-controlled smart toilet, the unit combines smartphone connectivity, hygiene-focused functions, and wellness-inspired features in a contemporary design.  At the heart of the MHD-4500 is its smartphone connectivity. Through the Moderno Smart Home app, available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, users can connect to the unit via Bluetooth and access its smart features directly from their phones. Voice control and a remote control system offer additional ways to operate the toilet, providing greater convenience and flexibility for everyday use.  “As the Philippines’ fastest-growing smart toilet brand, Moderno Home Depot believes that innovation should make everyday living more convenient and comfortable. The MHD-4500 reflects our commitment to bringing smart technology into practical home solutions, giving Filipino homeowners more opportunities to experience the benefits of a connected home,” said Rovie Sanchez, co-owner of Moderno Home Depot.  Beyond connectivity, the MHD-4500 places personal hygiene and comfort at the center of the bathroom experience. It features a self-cleaning nozzle, front and rear wash functions, bidet and hip wash options, adjustable nozzle positioning, and UV sterilization. These functions offer users more options for a personalized cleansing routine while incorporating additional hygiene features into an everyday essential.  Comfort takes center stage through its heated seat, adjustable water temperature, and adjustable drying system. Multiple massage modes, including strong-soft and moving massage functions, provide further customization. Built-in aromatherapy, dynamic lighting, and a soft night light add a wellness-inspired dimension, while automatic lid opening and closing and a slow-closing seat ring bring added convenience to daily routines.  These features are housed in a modern, elongated design crafted from premium ceramic. An LED display and integrated controls complement its contemporary appearance, allowing the unit to combine smart functionality with a clean, modern aesthetic.  Practical considerations are also part of its design. The MHD-4500 uses a siphon-jet flushing system with automatic and manual flushing options, as well as a foot-sensor flush function. A built-in water tank and booster pump support its flushing system, while leakage protection and power-outage flushing provide additional functionality.  For Jean Sanchez, co-owner of Moderno Home Depot, thoughtful home upgrades are about creating spaces that respond to people's everyday needs.  “Creating a comfortable home goes beyond choosing beautiful fixtures. It is also about finding solutions that make everyday routines easier and more personal. With the MHD-4500, we want to encourage homeowners to look at the bathroom in a new way and discover how technology can bring added comfort and convenience to their daily lives,” she said.  The product launch coincided with the opening of Moderno Home Depot’s newest showroom in Biñan City, Laguna, on Oct. 8, expanding the brand’s presence in South Luzon. The showroom offers homeowners, architects, and construction professionals another destination to explore modern bathroom fixtures and home solutions.  With the MHD-4500, Moderno Home Depot brings connected technology into a space where comfort, hygiene, and functionality intersect every day. It offers homeowners a new way to think about bathroom upgrades — not simply as a matter of aesthetics, but as an opportunity to make everyday living more convenient and personalized.

Bringing money lessons to young learners in Visayas, Mindanao

Bringing money lessons to young learners in Visayas, Mindanao

Young learners in schools across Visayas and Mindanao are getting additional resources for classroom learning and financial education through a partnership between Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) and BPI Foundation (BPIF). Under BPIF’s FinEd Unboxed program, the foundations distributed educational materials and multimedia learning packages to recipient schools in Isabela City, Basilan; Zamboanga City; Guimaras; and Iloilo City throughout September. The school visits also featured the premiere of new episodes of “Estudyantipid,” an original educational series that introduces financial literacy to children through relatable situations and practical guidance. “At BPI, we believe that financial education is a powerful tool for empowerment. By helping young Filipinos develop practical money skills early, we can help build a generation that is more responsible, resilient, and prepared for the future,” said BPIF trustee Mary Catherine Elizabeth Santamaria. Each recipient school received a 55-inch smart TV equipped with a Knowledge Channel Portable Media Library containing more than 1,500 curriculum-aligned video lessons. The resources are designed to support daily classroom activities across grade levels through multimedia learning. KCFI vice president Edric Calma thanked BPIF for its continued support in bringing these resources to more Filipino learners. Calma described the turnover as an investment in learners’ futures, with curriculum-aligned video lessons developed to make learning more engaging, interactive, effective and relevant.

Dennis Trillo steps up as hubby, dad and peacemaker

Dennis Trillo steps up as hubby, dad and peacemaker

It was GMA Drama King Dennis Trillo himself who put an end to the drama sparked by Ogie Diaz’s vlog interview with Patrick Garcia, which stirred the proverbial hornet’s nest. Dennis was even the one who offered Patrick an olive branch. Let there be peace for the sake of everyone involved, most especially the kids. Dennis made the point that Patrick could have handled a long-forgotten issue privately instead of going public, even if he felt compelled to speak to protect his daughter from being pilloried on social media. Comedienne Candy Pangilinan echoed that sentiment, indirectly coming to the defense of her close friend Gelli de Belen. Gelli was being drawn into an issue she had nothing to do with. With the controversy dragging more people into the fray, it fell to Dennis to sweep up the mess, haul it into the bin and, hopefully, shut the lid for good. No more scattering the contents, please. His wife, Jennylyn Mercado, also deserves credit for her firm resolve to say no more. Let the men take center stage in this emotionally charged, true-to-life showdown as spectators wait with bated breath to see where it leads. The same goes for Jennylyn’s management company, Aguila Entertainment, which has chosen to keep its eagle-like talons in check. Jen’s manager Becky had already said plenty in her statement, delivering criticism sharp enough to leave Patrick reeling. For now, it’s “peace on earth” in this corner of showbiz — an early Christmas treat. What, then, might showbiz followers wish for next? Since Christmas is traditionally a season for children, we can only hope Patrick reaches out to his son Alex Jazz, spends time sharing stories with him and begins making up for lost time. In keeping with the season, Patrick could even play Santa Claus. No need for the full costume or the trademark beard, just a huge sack of goodies — although making up for years of absence will take more than whatever he puts inside it.
