MagnetX Announces Completion of US$5 Million Financing and Opens Third Fundraising Round to Accelerate Global AI Agent Infrastructure

Sep 17, 2026

Hong Kong, September 17, 2026 -- MagnetX, a global AI Agent infrastructure and AI marketing ecosystem company, today announced that it completed a US$5 million financing round in November 2025. The round was led by KuCoin, with participation from Hong Kong-listed Voicecomm Technology.

MagnetX also announced the launch of its third fundraising round, targeting US$15 million at a proposed US$150 million valuation. The planned proceeds will support MagUp product development and global market expansion; the development of the DeWorld Agent Marketplace; enhanced model-routing and computing-capacity capabilities; and the expansion of MagnetX’s global partner network and core team.

Headquartered in Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi, MagnetX is an AI incubator and AI Agent infrastructure platform serving global markets. Supported by a community of more than one million professionals, the company focuses on AI developers and entrepreneurial teams that have achieved product-market fit (PMF). Built on blockchain-enabled capabilities, MagnetX is developing an integrated ecosystem spanning talent, transactions and traffic.

MagnetX’s MagUp is an integrated AI marketing and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) platform. It brings together GEO, SEO, PR, content strategy, brand monitoring and global growth support. Through five coordinated AI agents, MagUp operates on a Results-as-a-Service (RaaS) model designed to help businesses improve brand visibility and credibility across both AI-driven and traditional search environments.

As consumers increasingly use generative AI platforms—including ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and DeepSeek—to search for products, compare services and seek recommendations, brand growth is expanding beyond conventional search rankings. The new question is whether a brand can be understood, cited and recommended by AI. Through MagUp, MagnetX has established an entry point for overseas GEO customers and is operating in strategic markets across the Middle East, Japan, South Korea and Latin America. The company has generated and achieved profitability on a multi-million-dollar commercial scale.

MagnetX also plans to develop DeWorld as an Agent Marketplace for the AI Agent, connecting Agent services, model routing and computing-capacity supply. The platform is intended to provide developers with a unified entry point to access multiple AI models. Based on real transactions, DeWorld plans to progressively develop capabilities for identity, authorization, payments, revenue sharing and verifiable records, creating traceable infrastructure for service invocation, delivery and commercial collaboration.

DeWorld is designed to turn real usage and payment behavior into observable AI market signals: which models developers prefer, how much they are willing to pay for faster response times, when open-source models begin to displace closed models, and how users respond when service prices increase. The platform is building an open model-routing and Agent service network for Asia and other emerging markets, connecting models, computing resources, developers and customers while reducing barriers to cross-market AI adoption and commercialization.

“AI is reshaping how brands are discovered, how services are invoked and how value is distributed,” said Olivia Yang, Co-Founder of MagnetX. “MagUp helps brands participate in AI-driven discovery and recommendation environments, while DeWorld addresses broader needs for Agent service transactions and collaboration. Starting with real customers and real transactions, we aim to build infrastructure that connects brands, developers, models, computing resources and global markets.”

Following the financing, MagnetX plans to further expand its global collaboration network, connecting brands, agencies, creators, media organizations, model providers, computing partners, developers and local business ecosystems. The company aims to provide AI marketing, Agent services and commercialization support for customers and partners operating across global markets.

Smarter Bathroom: Meet Moderno Home Depot’s MHD-4500 AI Smart Toilet

The modern bathroom is evolving beyond functionality, with smart technology bringing greater convenience, personalized comfort, and new possibilities for everyday living.  Joining this shift is Moderno Home Depot’s MHD-4500 AI Smart Toilet. Introduced as the Philippines’ first app-controlled smart toilet, the unit combines smartphone connectivity, hygiene-focused functions, and wellness-inspired features in a contemporary design.  At the heart of the MHD-4500 is its smartphone connectivity. Through the Moderno Smart Home app, available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, users can connect to the unit via Bluetooth and access its smart features directly from their phones. Voice control and a remote control system offer additional ways to operate the toilet, providing greater convenience and flexibility for everyday use.  “As the Philippines’ fastest-growing smart toilet brand, Moderno Home Depot believes that innovation should make everyday living more convenient and comfortable. The MHD-4500 reflects our commitment to bringing smart technology into practical home solutions, giving Filipino homeowners more opportunities to experience the benefits of a connected home,” said Rovie Sanchez, co-owner of Moderno Home Depot.  Beyond connectivity, the MHD-4500 places personal hygiene and comfort at the center of the bathroom experience. It features a self-cleaning nozzle, front and rear wash functions, bidet and hip wash options, adjustable nozzle positioning, and UV sterilization. These functions offer users more options for a personalized cleansing routine while incorporating additional hygiene features into an everyday essential.  Comfort takes center stage through its heated seat, adjustable water temperature, and adjustable drying system. Multiple massage modes, including strong-soft and moving massage functions, provide further customization. Built-in aromatherapy, dynamic lighting, and a soft night light add a wellness-inspired dimension, while automatic lid opening and closing and a slow-closing seat ring bring added convenience to daily routines.  These features are housed in a modern, elongated design crafted from premium ceramic. An LED display and integrated controls complement its contemporary appearance, allowing the unit to combine smart functionality with a clean, modern aesthetic.  Practical considerations are also part of its design. The MHD-4500 uses a siphon-jet flushing system with automatic and manual flushing options, as well as a foot-sensor flush function. A built-in water tank and booster pump support its flushing system, while leakage protection and power-outage flushing provide additional functionality.  For Jean Sanchez, co-owner of Moderno Home Depot, thoughtful home upgrades are about creating spaces that respond to people's everyday needs.  “Creating a comfortable home goes beyond choosing beautiful fixtures. It is also about finding solutions that make everyday routines easier and more personal. With the MHD-4500, we want to encourage homeowners to look at the bathroom in a new way and discover how technology can bring added comfort and convenience to their daily lives,” she said.  The product launch coincided with the opening of Moderno Home Depot’s newest showroom in Biñan City, Laguna, on Oct. 8, expanding the brand’s presence in South Luzon. The showroom offers homeowners, architects, and construction professionals another destination to explore modern bathroom fixtures and home solutions.  With the MHD-4500, Moderno Home Depot brings connected technology into a space where comfort, hygiene, and functionality intersect every day. It offers homeowners a new way to think about bathroom upgrades — not simply as a matter of aesthetics, but as an opportunity to make everyday living more convenient and personalized.

Bringing money lessons to young learners in Visayas, Mindanao

Bringing money lessons to young learners in Visayas, Mindanao

Young learners in schools across Visayas and Mindanao are getting additional resources for classroom learning and financial education through a partnership between Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) and BPI Foundation (BPIF). Under BPIF’s FinEd Unboxed program, the foundations distributed educational materials and multimedia learning packages to recipient schools in Isabela City, Basilan; Zamboanga City; Guimaras; and Iloilo City throughout September. The school visits also featured the premiere of new episodes of “Estudyantipid,” an original educational series that introduces financial literacy to children through relatable situations and practical guidance. “At BPI, we believe that financial education is a powerful tool for empowerment. By helping young Filipinos develop practical money skills early, we can help build a generation that is more responsible, resilient, and prepared for the future,” said BPIF trustee Mary Catherine Elizabeth Santamaria. Each recipient school received a 55-inch smart TV equipped with a Knowledge Channel Portable Media Library containing more than 1,500 curriculum-aligned video lessons. The resources are designed to support daily classroom activities across grade levels through multimedia learning. KCFI vice president Edric Calma thanked BPIF for its continued support in bringing these resources to more Filipino learners. Calma described the turnover as an investment in learners’ futures, with curriculum-aligned video lessons developed to make learning more engaging, interactive, effective and relevant.

Dennis Trillo steps up as hubby, dad and peacemaker

Dennis Trillo steps up as hubby, dad and peacemaker

It was GMA Drama King Dennis Trillo himself who put an end to the drama sparked by Ogie Diaz’s vlog interview with Patrick Garcia, which stirred the proverbial hornet’s nest. Dennis was even the one who offered Patrick an olive branch. Let there be peace for the sake of everyone involved, most especially the kids. Dennis made the point that Patrick could have handled a long-forgotten issue privately instead of going public, even if he felt compelled to speak to protect his daughter from being pilloried on social media. Comedienne Candy Pangilinan echoed that sentiment, indirectly coming to the defense of her close friend Gelli de Belen. Gelli was being drawn into an issue she had nothing to do with. With the controversy dragging more people into the fray, it fell to Dennis to sweep up the mess, haul it into the bin and, hopefully, shut the lid for good. No more scattering the contents, please. His wife, Jennylyn Mercado, also deserves credit for her firm resolve to say no more. Let the men take center stage in this emotionally charged, true-to-life showdown as spectators wait with bated breath to see where it leads. The same goes for Jennylyn’s management company, Aguila Entertainment, which has chosen to keep its eagle-like talons in check. Jen’s manager Becky had already said plenty in her statement, delivering criticism sharp enough to leave Patrick reeling. For now, it’s “peace on earth” in this corner of showbiz — an early Christmas treat. What, then, might showbiz followers wish for next? Since Christmas is traditionally a season for children, we can only hope Patrick reaches out to his son Alex Jazz, spends time sharing stories with him and begins making up for lost time. In keeping with the season, Patrick could even play Santa Claus. No need for the full costume or the trademark beard, just a huge sack of goodies — although making up for years of absence will take more than whatever he puts inside it.
