The recently expanded classes use a unique system that allows students to begin their education online, before attending hands-on practical training sessions at the nearest Dermysk location. Graduates will be fully certified in up to a dozen of the most popular medical aesthetic techniques, including IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatments for acne, hair removal, pigmentation spots, and photo-rejuvenation.

The courses begin with online training, which provides students with an understanding of the medical aesthetic industry, safety requirements, and techniques for client consultation. Students will also learn about the biology of skin and hair and the physics behind IPL or laser-based treatments.

After students have completed the online training, they will be able to schedule the practical portion of their education at the nearest Dermysk Academy. This hands-on training requires students to attend a minimum of one week of courses, where they will get real-world experience working with medical aesthetic tools, and performing MedSpa procedures.

Graduates from the program will be fully certified and able to enter the workforce at a local MedSpa, or by opening their own business. Students may also return at any time to improve their skills and certifications with the Advanced course, which teaches complex techniques including stem cell treatments, Body Sculpting, and laser gynecology.

Students can also access an updated Master-level training option, which provides the full level of training from both the Basic and Advanced programs in a single class. This Master-level program has no prerequisites but is only available to certain highly dedicated students, at the discretion of Dermysk Academy staff.

Graduates from the Master-level training will be fully trained and certified in even the most complex medical aesthetic techniques and will receive a Master of Medical Aesthetics certificate.
