As well as conquering Everest, Alison has climbed the Seven Summits and skied to both the North and South Poles. She has had to make smart decisions, with no room for error, in the most challenging environments on Earth. Lives have depended on the former part-time West Point faculty member’s leadership skills, and she knows what it takes to steer people through the toughest situations and triumph. Her book, On the Edge: Leadership Lessons from Everest and Other Extreme Environments, made the New York Times’ best-seller list.
